Let me hear your thoughts on this... I'm not sure about Top 10 All Classification but I will start with my Top 5
1. Dutch Fork
2. Summerville
3. Gaffney
4. Spartanburg
5. Mann

I know there are others to mull over... NW, South Florence, Daniel, River Bluff, Dorman, Byrnes, Hanna, Irmo...many others I know I am forgetting. Let me hear your "Way Too Early" all classification Top 10...

...I've always viewed the Stags as more of a big ole steaming #2 myself.

Gaffney will have growing pains... or have a lot to prove with the right HC

I don't see Hillcrest as a top 10 team...... but G'ville county gonna G'ville co

Will Mann reload or become just a rat field off Laurens Road again

Summerville will have some regression, but have they finally shaken off the split off new school curse? Also pan down for the Region 2 effect

Spartanburg will be way down

Dutch Fork will roll

Irmo is going to be a lot like Summerville; regression or finally over the hump

Greenwood has their guy, but he better find another QB a WHOLE lot better than last year's mess

Hanna is going Tone no matter what until he decides to go back to GA to make some money.... not that Anderson 5 doesn't pay

Nwest has arguably the best HC in the state..... imagine if the rumors are true for that job opening

Burpley is a legend in his own mind....

White Knoll, can they beat up big brother DF???? They certainly chewed up #2 seed Myrtle Beach

Speaking of Dirty Myrtle, have they finally gotten off the mat and going to be something more than Doug Shaw Stadium, host of the North/South Allstar game?

Speaking of the drive to the beach, all the Sumter fans complaining about how the team "can't get over the hump" need to seriously look at the dynamics of the school district..... the man is doing a outstanding job, enjoy what you've got

Rock Hill will interesting to see in the next couple of years with the new boss in charge. Can he be the 'Ringer' they need?

Can Cane Bay punch up over Summerville challenger FD and stay there?

Speaking of can Fort Dorchester get its swagger back? or is FD still pizzing over its Summerville political roots?

And back to Region 2 -- Byrnes, Dorman, Boiling Springs -- has all the influx of the damnyankees finally done them in?

And of course the random team that decides to be kind of good for a season or 2 that will pop up - Chapin, James Island, Stratford, Greenville, Goose Creek, North of Dirty Myrtle, Spring Valley (oh... could do a whole thread on them), Lexington..... and then the whole group just above the Wade Hamtons that get in the tourney b/c everyone needs validation of 'yea we are winners' .... but are actually wieners.

My AAAAA top ten
1 DF
2 NWest
3
4
5
6 Gaffney
7 Region 2 Byrnes/Dorman/S'burg.... sorry BS
8 Summerville
9 White Knoll
10 Burpley b/c if you don't you have to deal with a clown

“Arguably the best HC in SC…”?
Arguably NOT the best HC in SC. Until Knotts retires that spot is taken. You may “feel “ like the NW HC is the best, but as the saying goes, “facts don’t care about your feelings…”
The facts are he has won 16 state titles, 9 in SC- 8 in the past 9 years.

@DFoldman

‘Arguably’ I thought that you would know what ‘Arguably’ means…. But then ‘Arguably’ I might be wrong. ‘Arguably’ I thought you are a thoughtful man, but ‘Arguably’ I might have been mistaken.

‘Arguably’ Bobby Bentley in Duncan was ‘Arguably’ Knotts’ Daddy since Knotts refused play Byrnes in a real game to protect his vaunted streak.

I might be mistaken, but ‘Arguably’ I’m as familiar with Knotts as you are.

I don’t ‘Arguably’ “feel” anything about Page @ N’West; I simply made an opinion about his status a HC in SC. And I ‘Arguably’ know a bit about him as well…..

And ‘Arguably’ where did I say anything negative about Knotts in my previous post? I ‘Arguably’ listed DF as heads and shoulders above all other AAAAA teams other than N’West in my conclusion.

‘Arguably’ I’m just an arse poking at a bear.

‘Arguably’ you’re just a blowhard tilting at windmills.

And ‘Arguably’ this is just a message board that means little in the big clock of time.

Arguably , some folks have lived dull uninteresting lives and wax “eloquently” to fill up the void their inner timidity has left in their lives…
Wofford is going to be arguably the best coach in SC at Oceanside.
An argument needs some essence of validity. Being a good guy, though admirable, doesn’t equate to arguably the best.
I wish him well in Mount Pleasant.
