Top 10 of what and when? You might be thinking of Coach West's 1st year they went 9-4 and 3 rounds deep in playoffs. That team was stacked with players. Prince made the playoffs 4 times in 7 years which is not bad for Southside. But, they only had 2 winning seasons and only 1 of those was a winning record in the region. Granted one full class, if all stayed at Southside, he went 22-22 with 3 playoff appearances and 2 winning seasons. If he wants the job and gets it best of luck to him. Berea, Southside and Carolina. Might be pretty interesting with good coaching.
Whoever gets that job needs to start at ground level and get into the rec programs and sell it to the parents to keep their kids at Southside. Stay on them all thru middle school, into JV and hopefully build a full class and see what happens.
