Maybe a little of both...

#21 at RB was a 15 on a scale of 1 to 10 and (wearing #21 sure took me back to another guy who made that number famous not only at Byrnes but also at USC) the QB was probably a 7 while the defense was solid all night. Hough is good and like always, measuring up against out of state teams is not an easy task. I think Byrnes has the team that I would list as a potential Region contender and at least to the second round of the playoffs, if not further. If that QB develops and the coach staff doesn't get stuck on the same three plays, this team could be playing in the FINAL FOUR.

and the fact that he is a freshman is just incredible, it will be fun to watch him the next few years! Except when he plays us and our very bad defense

Hough is not as good as they have been but Byrnes came to play and dominated the game. Hough punter was awful, Byrnes got the ball in good field position due to his short punts. Congrats to Byrnes, way to represent SC!!
