I’m not sure Dillon can throw the ball efficiently or if they will risk some turnovers if they try to put it down field. I think Camden has shown they will try to throw it down field and they have turned it over doing that this year. Neither QB is very accurate and there is a lot of risk twitch throwing. Whichever team protects the ball will likely win. Both QBs can run the ball in. Wry different ways. Dillons run game is much better but Camdens defense is much better. In my opinion coaching during the week is going to decide this game. Both have played in the playoffs the last 2 years and know each other pretty well. What will be interesting is who comes out with a better game plan and uses some things not on film yet. Similar athletically so coaching is going to be huge and I think it boils down to who makes fewer mistakes and maybe momentum becomes huge. Home field advantage with Dillon for sure. If one side comes out and plays great defense that could also be the difference. They both dominate on defense against teams that are basically JV teams like Marlboro, Georgetown, Waccamaw, Lake City, but struggle against anyone with athletes like Hartsville (common opponent). That’s why I give the edge this year in the lower state to Crestwood who can score with both and plays decent defense. Should be an exciting one but I give the edge to Camden now because they can run decent and throw decent while Dillon is primarily run based and Camdens defensive backfield is good so not the game you want to start trying to throw when you haven’t really put the ball downfield all year. Gonna be a good one and see how weather impacts it as well. Defense and the run game matter in the playoffs when it gets cold. That could be advantage Dillon but that run game is very predictable and one dimensional and expect Camden to shut down Dillon’s star RB and make Dillon’s QB beat them. Should be interesting and then winner gets Gilbert probably who’s coaches will make their schemes completely unpredictable that week prior to getting Crestwood and the best QB in the lower state by a ton.
the paragraph option is a good thing............

Oh you’re the guy that had something to say when I said Hartsville wasn’t as good as everyone thought prior to playing Irmo. How did that take turn out for you versus my take?
Bringthewood, got anything else to say? I had Hartsville as over rated and Irmo, James Island and S Florence as the teams in the lower state. I had Dillon as overrated and not having a QB. Seems about right today, huh?

Well, it's good to know that I'm in your thoughts in this thread and another.... even though I happened to suggest a better way to post an extended thought.......

And I made an opinion/thought on SEVERAL teams that didn't play out the way I thought they would... who would have guessed high school kids were not robots and would just play out the string???

You guessed it.... I was WRONG. Have you ever been wrong????

Be sure to send me your perfect season prediction, when that ever happens.

I hope you have a happy and BLESSED DAY.

And yes, that is all I've got to say.

I was wrong once. I thought you probably weren’t that bad of a guy after you attempted to school me about Hartsville and how good they were. Then you commented on me not using paragraphs on a forum post from my cell phone and I realized I was wrong. Only a douchebag would tell someone to use paragraphs on a forum. So yes, I was wrong about you. I thought you weren’t a douche but it turns out you were one. I can’t recall another time, but I’m sure I’m wrong about that too.

I don’t have a perfect season of predictions. Nice sarcasm there but I think everyone knows that with HS kids and coaches anything can happen. Hope you have a blessed day as well. I’ve also broken this response down into paragraphs for you. I failed to indent, but I think it is readable. Let me know if I misspelled anything or used improper grammar so I can edit it as necessary.

Hope you have a great day/weekend as well. Obviously I’m being a dick just for my own entertainment and laughs. In all seriousness you seem pretty knowledgeable about football and specifically upper state football in SC. Take care and good luck the rest of the season for the team(s) you support. I think Crestwood comes out of 3A lower state and probably plays BHP or Daniel for the state championship although that Wren/Daniel score worries me and if the BHP RB is out it could be Chester considering the beat down they put on Chapman who I thought was a dark horse out of the upper state.

Got to agree with BTW on this even though I usually don’t take stock in post by folks that have no team affiliation ( erbody got a team)….the paragraph does hold attention longer and is easier to read..I too was scolded/educated by a wise OLD man(rebel74) when I first starting posting many years ago on PFT…I don’t think BTW was being a smart a$$,just had trouble reading as did I..
