I don't think DF has any "super stars" on this team...no Jalin Hyatt or Antonio Williams...but what they do have is decent depth and can keep fresh, relatively even talent, rotated in and out....one thing Knotts rarely if ever does is play anyone both ways. I think that becomes a factor in the second half and with some depth it is even a bigger factor. Just have to wait and see. I have not seen enough on this year's team to really know much...seems like it's been by design by Coach Knotts. Have seen lineups that I would not have thought would be "the first squad" either on offense or defense. Can't decide if this is by design or if he is simply seeing different lineups and how things gel...maybe a bit of both. I've quit trying to second guess TK.

It should be a heck of a ball game, DFOLD do you think we will see any of TK's son in at QB? from all accounts the kid can absolutely sling it!
Jaxon Knotts and Ethan Offing were ball boys for DF when they were both little guys....you could tell then they were both going to be able to chunk the rock. Offing is an outstanding baseball player, much like Ty Olenchuk and Will Taylor...both weren't too shabby at QB. Jaxon would be starting in a lot of places as a sophomore and I suspect will get to see plenty of playing time during the course of the season.

Man that's awesome! I'm a big fan of Offing, I was really high on him going into last season and he definitely not disappoint, excited to see the game tomorrow night.

Tough way to start the season for DF...the Vikes have a game under their belt from Week 0. I believe DF did have a chance to scrimmage Hartsville last week so that was good as long as no one was injured. Hope all those baseball players that start for DF have shaken off the rust from the summer and ready to play football....have to wait and see. Good luck to both teams.... should benefit both teams win, lose or draw.

24-7 Foxes… on the road, tough team and tough place.Offing shaking off the baseball rust. Threw one INT in the Vikes red zone inside the 10 that may have cost DF a score but he tossed 3TD passes as well. Defense played solid- not bad for the first game.

Great game and a heck of a team.DF is the real deal and we didn’t let up.We probably could’ve scored near the goal line if they didn’t shut the game down due to lightning.I think we did pretty good compared to all the injuries we have and hopefully not loosing our best receiver that went down.Once we get all our players back I think we’ll be a totally different team but congrats to DF..

Spartanburg was with Dutch Fork step for step on every play but 4.. and that's your ball game.

DF just doesn't make mistakes.
They are so fast upfront.
I really thought we would stay within a 7-10 point game at the worst.

It was a good game between two good teams.

Wish we could have given a little bit better showing.

On with the show...

Usually baseball players have strong arms and accuracy. a decent percentage of them translate well into the qb position. They have poise aswell learned on the mound at early ages .that's my theory anyway .
Mine turned into a olineman. Snapped the ball fairly well.loved the guard position though.
We were fortunate to have 4 decent to good centers in our starting 5.

Vikes are fine- don’t worry . SP beat the living crap out of RH in spite of 15 penalties- probably would have won by 70 if they hadn’t been flagged so much. RH gave RB a decent game last week. Vikes beat a good SP team.
