Why would the list in the http://www.schsl.org/classAAAA.html" target="_blank not be considered the official list? They list the schools in the handbook and state they will be used for 2014. I do not understand why 2 schools who were sent a different list would even be a factor based on what was published below. I must be missing something....

"The sixteen largest schools, by enrollment from the 2013-2014, 135-ADM will be considered Big Sixteen determining points for the “Point System” on a yearly basis.
Listed below for 2014:
1. Wando
2. Dorman
3. Summerville
4. Sumter
5. Boiling Springs
6. James F. Byrnes
7. West Ashley
8. Mauldin
9. Dutch Fork
10. Hillcrest
11. Ashley Ridge
12. Fort Dorchester
13. Gaffney
14. Spring Valley
15. Clover
16. Carolina Forest"

Keep in mind..

AAAA runs the playoffs when it comes to amking "THE RULES"

Maybe no one has bother to check to ensure the two match? Other than us, of course...

That list was last years numbers used to realign with. The big 16 is updated each year for the playoffs. That's why the confusion.

I believe that Tigerific is correct.

I expect them to update the 4A handbook (at some point) to reflect the latest enrollment numbers that we have.

Dutch Fork out of Big 16 - 17th in enrollment will still be Division I
West Ashley out of Big 16 - 24th in enrollment will likely fall to Division II

Rock Hill moves into Big 16 - 14th in enrollment
White Knoll moves into Big 16 - 16th in enrollment
OPRAH says...

I know the Big 16 changes, but the Big 16 listed in the handbook for 2014 does not match the list sent to the schools in late September. These are two "different lists" and neither match the realignment lists.

EHSMeanGreen's Projections: These are based on the latest enrollment data that we have.

*Projected 4A Division I Bracket*

*Projected 4A Division II Bracket*

Couple of Outcomes projected:
Region 2 - 1.Dorman 2.Byrnes 3.Spartanburg
(projected it this way because REB will pick Byrnes in his bracket...as he should)

Region 5 - 1.White Knoll 2. North Augusta 3. Lexington
(congrats to White Knoll for waking me up...sorry that I may have jinxed your team NAJACKETFAN)
I will project a 3-way tie later, White Knoll vs. Lexington could be Huge to end the season, North Augusta could still win the Region if White Knoll loses and they win out....will Double Check

As always...
Tell me what outcome you would like projected differently. I'll try to oblige.

Now THAT is an interesting looking bracket. Home game against Sumter and then if we were to win a possible rematch against Fort D. Oh yes, that is a game I would love to see.
