We said we got to get Daylan reps, too. In the grand scheme of things, this is a non-region game that doesn’t count for anything. But it would have been nice to play better and coach better.” - Index Journal

I have a problem with this. In the past, before Pippin got here....Non-region games counted and mean a lot to the Greenwood fans. The coach doesn't take scrimmages, jamborees and non region games seriously. We will always come up short because eventually we will have to face these teams again in the playoffs.
I've been saying this for years. The same couple of excuses week after week, month after month, season after season........

As I said. I want to win everything. That's always been the standard. That's what we were taught.

This is what I've been saying. You can't be halfway about scrimmages and non region games and then expect the kids to hit a magic button and turn it on when it so called "counts". You have to go hard from day one in January when weight lifting and conditioning starts and keep your foot on the gas through the season. Football is year round. You can't do it the way Pippin is trying to sell us and expect to beat teams like Gaffney! Honestly the region teams have gotten better too. We'll be lucky to finish 3rd the way we're going.
