I've projected the remaining games and taken all the region tie-breakers into account. Here's how it looks to me.

Upper State

Region 1 #1 Laurens
At Large Nothwestern
======================
Region 3 #3 Nation Ford
Region 2 #2 Byrnes
=================================
Region 4 #1 Sumter
Region 1 #4 Woodmont
======================
Region 2 #3 Gaffney
Region 3 #2 Rock Hill
==============================================
Region 2 #1 Dorman
Region 1 #5 Greenwood
======================
Region 1 #3 Westside
Region 4 #2 Blythewood
==================================
Region 3 #1 Clover
Region 2 #5 Boiling Springs
======================
Region 2 #4 Mauldin
Region 1 #2 T.L. Hanna
========================================================
Lower State

Region 5 #1 Dutch Fork
At Large Chapin
======================
Region 7 #3 Wando
Region 6 #2 Conway
==================================
Region 8 #1 Fort Dorchester
Region 5 #3 Lexington
======================
Region 6 #3 West Florence
Region 7 #2 Berkelely
==============================================
Region 6 #1 Carolina Forest
Region 7 #4 Cane Bay
======================
Region 8 #3 Ashley Ridge
Region 5 #2 River Bluff
==================================
Region 7 #1 Goose Creek
Region 6 #4 South Florence
======================
Region 4 #3 Spring Valley
Region 8 #2 Summerville

Wow, now that I look at it, that "lower" lower state bracket is really weak. :o

And if Summerville loses to FD in 2 weeks, that is exactly where we will be :mrgreen:.

so Gaffney (upper bracket) played Dutch fork (lower bracket) in the title game previously

and played Sumter (lower bracket) in the title game previously

now Sumter is upper bracket and DF is lower bracket. Sumter in the lower bracket would make it more competitive

That is the HSL's bracket. Region 4 #1 and #2 are in the upper bracket, #3 is in the lower.

seems like long playoff runs are not an expectation or a reality in Summerville anymore. Been a while

Gonna be real tough for Northwestern to argue an "at-large" birth if they can't beat Rock Hill next week. If Northwestern wins this week and next and then loses on a tie-breaker, I could see that scenario, potentially. To be honest, Rock Hill and Nation Ford stand a much better chance of getting at-large births.
