Dang good football weather to see who can take it and not make mistakes in that mess. I remember back when i was 12 or 13...(1975-76)..Havelock had a playoff game in Ahoskie NC (near Elizabeth City NC) and it was sleeting, freezing rain then snow with 20+ mph winds and the game was packed.Tigerific wrote:It’s not just a little rain. do more players get injured in the rain? Have seen some bad football injuries happen on dry fields. Am trying to remember a time that wet fields/rain caused injuries.
