only 10 players at a time allowed to practice
on a football field.Good luck to the coaches
on solving that no common sense rule.I wonder
if they will be allowed to have a football to
practice with.they will have to clean it every time
a player or coach touches it.

Summer Stag Workouts

We are aware of the guidance that was handed down from the South Carolina High School League concerning sports and weightlifting/conditioning beginning for the summer. At this time we are waiting for further details from the school district to facilitate the beginning of summer conditioning. These details will provide us with the information we need to successfully and safely get back to conditioning in Phase One of the return to High School Athletics.

Information that should be coming out in the near future will address:

Start Date for Conditioning/Weightlifting
Times for Athletes to Lift (this will likely be different than we have done before to ensure we follow guidelines for social distancing)
Items athletes should bring with them
Procedures for drop off/pick up for sessions

Athletes are reminded that they need to have a current physical on file with the Athletic Department before they may participate in any athletic activities. The physical form should be dated after April 1st, 2020. Athletes should also have a current concussion form on file with the Athletic Department. Both of the forms can be found below.

Phyical Form 2

Concussion Awareness Form

Free Athletic Physicals through the district and Trident Sports Medicine are NOT being conducted at this time. Dr’s Care is offering Pre Participation Physicals for $15.

Athletes and Parents should check back for information concerning the summer schedule for their specific sport in the coming days as decisions are being made.

Guidelines from the SCHSL can be found by clicking the link below:
