This is what we needed. Some adversity to over come. We did play sluggish early and often but when it was crunch time we made the plays and got the stops. Alot was against them as summerville played as if its a state championship game plus having 4 extra players on their side wearing stripes just like in the good ol days. Also to clear this up. Yes fort has their share of "bad boy" type. But you see that on almost all teams. Summerville no angel. They can jaw throw punches and not get flagged. Their qb taunt on their first td no call but goose creek and fort players got flagged for the same exact thing when they played

I can accept almost everything you have said except the part where you say the four extra players in stripes were for Summerville. I have watched too many games in "THE FORT" where the Convicts sided with your boys, the clock got slow when you needed it, and so on. So let's cut the crap and just admit that Fort was too blatantly obvious in their penalties last night that they couldn't be overlooked by a blind seeing eye dog. Your wide receiver celebrated every TD and maybe he should have, but you can't in High School football. And when you have two players walking numerous times on each side of a player jawing at him trying to intimidate him which from my vantage point was obvious it was uncalled for. You may have seen some fist fly but unfortunately, I didn't. I was sitting on the 45-yard line and saw enough though. I will say I was proud that both sides acted with respect within reason at the end of the game, cause I have seen enough fights breakout through the years after games like this one. This was a classic game, and yes Summerville did play like it was for the State Championship I agree. "The State Championship of Charleston", can't wait till next year, should be an even better game with Fort's QB being a Junior and Summerville being in year 2 with their new coach! Maybe COVID will be gone and we won't have to wear these damn masks too!

Everyone in this state except summervullwo delusional fans know for years if you play summerville expect some shady calls from the men in stripes. So explain this. Years of watching fort football since i went there we had one altercation and it was yes against summerville while the so called angel school had 3. Now which one the thug squad? Refs were trying to rob us. It wouldnt be a first it happen. To add to this ref cheating. The wave rb fell forward. The main ref did not want to throw the flag. He tossed it after the ball snapped when it should had been a dead ball before the snap. Wave wr caught a ball when he was out of bounds video board clearly showed it. Im by far no homer at all. I watch and analyze all parts of the game i also watch other schools around the state as well too. While walking to my car a fan who isnt a fort or summerville fan basically was saying what everyone was saying how the refs were trying to help summerville so that should speak volumes

This was the most exciting game I have seen in the Lowcountry in 4 years. The QB play from Summerville and the play-calling from Summerville must have totally confused the FD defense because they ran on them like no team other than Dutch Fork. Calling it as I do, Fort in the second half came out like a bunch of thugs and tried to intimidate and hurt the Summerville players after getting their asses embarrassed in the 1st half. There were more than probably 100 yards worth of penalties, a lot of them personal fouls for roughing the passer and other things. I want to see them try that with the big boys!! Remember that State runs through DF until they lose. They have home-field all the way to State and if they play the Championships at the Home team it will be at Dutch Fork too!

The bottom line is Berkely was just given the road map on how Fort can be beaten. I am honestly embarrassed by the thug way a couple of those kids acted. When you want to be a Champion, Act Like One!! No Class Tonight!! Sorry, it was too good of a game for all the BS that went on the field in my opinion. I agree. This guy an obvious fort hater. Thats fine that will be a good motivation. One Game at a time. Fort players had to fight thru it all and won. Nothing wrong with celebrating overcoming not playing well getringe the other teams best shot and fight thru the gifts the refs were giving the wave. Its a shame we dang if we do we dang if we dont with this guy. If we beat the "big boy" team as he say he will still find something to tear our team about.
