I am just a grumpy old fart. For those familiar with Jeff Dunham, I am Walter. 63 years old and a 1976 graduate of Beaufort High. Attended Wofford College for 1 semester until I was told that I had to bow to their religious ideologies. One good F*** You later, and I was a college dropout.
Married my High School sweetheart at age 19. Managed to stay together for 12 years, producing my one and only offspring, my daughter Julie. She is now 37, pregnant with my baby granddaughter, due right around Thanksgiving. I will have to be in Missouri with her in late November, so the Eagles will have to carry on without me. Met my current wife in 1993, and we haven't been apart since then. Discovered that finding the RIGHT one was more important than being with the one that others thought was right.
Apparently I have offended some of you, and for that I do apologize. My goal was to offend ALL of you. There, I said it.

I will turn 63 on Wednesday
Yes, i graduated from 96 in 1976
Lived in 96 for 50 years and served on the school board for many years.
I was assigned the athletic department when it hit a very low point after Shell Dula left.
I rebuilt the program and oversaw it during the championship years when we won 2 state titles and played for 3.
Sadly the community lacked the commitment necessary to sustain a championship program and it has now been a bottom feeder for quite some time.
Have lived in Leesville for 12 years with my girlfriend of 30 years.
Finished high school just after the draft for Vietnam ended; i wasn't joining the Salvation Army much less the real army.

I am 49. I graduated from Beaufort High School in 1990. I played Baseball and Football at Beaufort. I have a Beautiful Wife and a 9 year old Daughter. I started posting on Palmetto Football Talk in 2002 and been posting on SCPrepTalk since. I have met a lot of posters from the boards over the years and hope to meet many more. I have only missed 4 Beaufort Football Games ever in my whole life. Plus I attend almost all of Beaufort's Baseball and Basketball Games too.

No. I graduated from South View HS in Hope Mills, NC
I became a band dad in 2009 when my daughter joined the SFHS band. At that time I had not seen a HS football game since I played in one, 26 years earlier. She graduated from HS in 2014, college in 2018, so now I'm a Post Graduate Band dad.
US Navy. 1983-93 5 years on USS Saratoga CV-60
I founded this website in frustration after PFT instituted pop-up survey questions for non-subscribers. A few years later I no longer had the time to keep it running and I "sold" it to EHSMeanGreen. My asking price was "a sandwich at the next weekend of champions." He over-paid.

55 years of doing what I love best
“Woodruff High Class of 84”
Sorry no Active Duty for me, But proudly support all of our past and present “Men and Woman of the armed Services.”
I am just as a hard core Wolverine fan as “Wolverine Legion” but just a little quieter. I also can say I had the pleasure of playing for Coach Varner and have a SC State Champion Ring to prove it!!
