With the tradition at Conway, I don’t see how a 9-25 collective record over the last four years is getting the job done. 7 wins used to be a down year at Conway. You could certainly always count on 8-9 wins at least and competing for the region. Seeing them this bad is disappointing from the days from when I went there. Conway used to be respected, not only in Horry County, but the state as a whole in football. I never thought I would hear Aynor or St. James having consistently better teams.

I don’t see how Conway cannot make changes this year. Conway has never had four losing seasons in a row in school history but that will change this year. JV is winless and getting pummeled. Can’t get any b team scores so that’s not a good sign. Stands are empty and not coming back until a new coach is hired. I haven’t heard anything yet so what have you heard?

I don’t think Conway cares about wins anymore. Sad situation.

That’s not true with the majority of fans and community. However there’s a few close to the program that worry about the coach being a Conway guy whether he can win football games or not. That’s the mindset we are dealing with. There’s only 30 on the varsity team now and about the same on JV. Numbers down half of what it used to be. JV is winless again too.
