Not Sure what you mean? Just wanting to know if anyone such as Newberry's coach had announced retirement or plans to step down.

Conway definitely needs new leadership but it remains to be seen what will happen.

Yep. Should have hired the best coach we could get. There were plenty more qualified that applied including the best high school coach in the state.

Let's see.....

10-2 in 2017 (interim year)
3-7 in 2018 (wins against 1-7 Socastee, 5-6 South Florence, 1-7 St. James)
3-8 in 2019 (wins against 6-5 West Florence, 1-8 Socastee, 3-8 South Florence)
1-7 in 2020 (win against 3-6 St. James)
2-3 so far in 2021 (wins against 2-3 Covid shortened roster Carolina Forest, 1-4 Socastee)

Since 2018 has only beat 1 team (West Florence 6-5) with a winning record.

This is true, but that job is one of the higher profile spots and shouldn’t settle for less than mediocre in that guy.

Right now I assume this is all just a rumor! Jody actually coached in Conway before he was HC at Aynor. He did very well as strength and conditioning coach in Conway. He also was the OC and coached the OL. His previous time here went very well. He was part of the staff that went to 4 title games in a 6 year span.
