Hey Blister, The Blitz Border Bowl is put on by WSAV-TV out of Savannah, Georgia. This is the 4th year that they have done this. Sponsors help put the game on and all the proceeds from this game go to Ronald McDonald House Charities to help families with sick children who are in the hospital to have a place to stay. This game is usually packed on both sides and the fans really get in to it rooting for their States Team. There are usually a ton of College Scouts at this game and the players play hard hoping that they can land a College Scholarship. This game has really grown every year and will hopefully be put on for many more years. The Coaches and Players love it!!!! This game is Televised by WSAV and streamed live. It is held at Memorial Stadium in Savannah which is a very nice Facility.Blister wrote: ↑Thu Dec 30, 2021 9:45 pmHow many of these all-star games make the kids pay to play? Outside of the Shrine Bowl (which is currently idle as they change their panties) none of these games draw enough to pay for anything. I guess the North-South has enough sponsor support to make it work. But all of these others? Got to be a money making angle in some way, just wonder if it is on the players themselves?
GO BEAUFORT EAGLES!!!! GO TEAM LOWCOUNTRY OF SC!!!!
