My brother-in-law at the time was the QB on that 1983 team. Zeke was an all-world RB and kick returner. He went on to play LB at Pitt. Chris, my brother-in-law went to Navy for 1 year before transferring to The Shitadel for 3 years. He played LB thru his Junior year when he tore a ligament in his shoulder that prevented him from being able to use his hand. He was forced to have surgery and would never play ball again.

I will never forget all of the bus loads of players and even the referees, that season, when they rolled into town. They hauled away a first rate butt-kicking later that evening. It looked like McCheater was going to stroke out a couple of times on the sideline that night. His assistants had to grab him and take him behind the bleachers one particular time. It was priceless to see just how much they cheated to win games over the years, but we weren't having that on that night. We were ranked 7th going into that game and had an agenda of our own.

The game was never close, and watching him rant, rave, kick, and stomp, was a thing of beauty. He never wanted to play us, ever again. We were forced to play due to Region affiliation, but when we dropped to 3A, he wouldn't even scimmage against us. Big man with a big record, beating up on nobodys. Playing college kids against high school kids. I repect his records, I do not repect him for the way that he obtained them.

I agree he had so many perks to wineasily, i go back and look at how many times we were there to win the big game and he would take his 95 players and wear us out and beat us, he was a great rule breaker and had the money to get who he wanted to come there. when they broke his kingdom up and made the fort, he fell off his crown for sure.
