I’m just making the point that kid was effective in the games he was in and it was more of the style of play we had two years ago with venebles.
I imagine with all the skill players coming back that we will be ok . It’s not saying anything against Pearman he was great no doubt. But 22 games ago he wasn’t even the starter or the backup.
The point being anyone that thinks Daniel is taking a step back is misinformed.

Dub- Just going off what the HC at DWD said in a couple interviews... still the team to beat until the HC moves along.

DF will reload. Loads of talent, but honestly aside maybe from his first year at DF this may have been the best coaching job by Knotts given the health issues he faced and the deaths of Gage and Jack. Watching someone die, especially for a group of teenagers is extremely hard to process and it being a peer; someone with a long life in front of them- more important things than a game. Surprised they made it as far as they did. Sumter and FD played lights out.

DF defense is loaded...and will be extremely hard to score on. Offense, we have a solid QB coming back- already with D1 offers as a back up. He has the tools, and expected him to start this past season but Knotts showed his loyalty to the starter; he had been a backup and on varsity since his freshman season. Appler looks good but you can't tell much about a backup as they are pulling mop up duty against an already spent defense or in most cases where a game is well out of hand, other backups across the ball. But we have a load of talent returning on offense and the JV team was outstanding. We will be in the hunt again. 77-2-1 in the last 80 games with losses to Gaffney, Fort D and a tie to Mallard Creek. I think most fans would be happy with that.

Beaufort...Gee and Haw have a lot to prove to me. If they are playing 3A this season I'm not sure who is in Lower State...I guess Camden
and Dillon. Is Oceanside back in 3A? Those GA teams they rant about beating...yawn. In the end, they played 2 good SC teams and lost decisively to both. DWD would have beat them about like SP did to be honest. The rented mules need to up their game...

Hey Ddub, Like I have said earlier, I really hope that Beaufort can play against your Daniel Lions in the 3A State Title Game. Beaufort has never played against Daniel before. It should be a pretty good game. Beaufort should return at least half of their starters next season. I can't wait to see what My Eagles can do.

I see where Massey has his High School Football Ratings out for 2022. According to Massey, Beaufort will finish up the 2022 regular football season with a Record of 9-1. He says Beaufort's only loss will be to Fort Dorchester 30-20. Massey has Daniel and Beaufort as the top 3A Football Teams. I look for My Eagles Football Team to have another great season this year and they should be a solid favorite to win 3A. I can't wait!!!!
