...I tried twice to see us play in the Showdown and was shut out twice. Hopefully next Friday against CF I will get to see my first prep football of the year.

you aint a day of 55, try almost 73, sitting in the rain friday night, sent out gate 3 times and then canceled at 9:15, come home, get back up and leave at 8:40 for a 10:30 game, sit in the devil sun till 12:30, get home at 1 pm, change clothes, wash your tired skin, back on the road by 4:15 to your friends in the creek, get in, ran out two times, then sitting in the wet tropics with frigging gooses dropping dodo all around, and still waiting till 9:15 for a start, me and the mexican from south of the border aka newyorkrican till 11:15 for the end, and getting home like midnight.

Goose Creek no match for South Florence

GOOSE CREEK – As advertised, South Florence senior quarterback LaNorris Sellers put on a show to lead his Bruins to an impressive 53-9 win over Goose Creek on Aug. 20.

By halftime, Sellers, a Syracuse commit, had accounted for four touchdowns through the air and two more on the ground as the Bruins led 46-0 at the break. Sellers had nearly 300 yards passing in the first half, including scoring tosses of 4, 69, 24 and 48 yards. He also set up a score with a second quarter run of 70 yards. Sellers did not play in the second half.

Goose Creek didn’t help itself offensively, committing three turnovers in the opening quarter and allowing the Bruins to open a 19-0 lead after one period.
