From what I saw of the game you stop Green you stop DF
That’s still not an easy assignment.Receivers dont matter if you got no one to get it to them. DF will have to rely on their defense turning the ball over for them to stay in games. If Green gets hurt like last year DF will struggle.

Yup...need to rest him for a while to be honest. Keep him rested for the region slate. Lodge and McGuire would be starters elsewhere and are solid RBs. The OL is playing well and need to let Hunt QB as he is the future, until Appler is back- use #14, #17 #7 and #85 more passing. We are a much better team with Appler at the helm. The Defense is deep and play well- so that helps Seems 5A is off a bit this season...have to wait and see.

Ugly ugly win....64-21. Played in a downpour...turnovers and mistakes. Need the starting QB back ASAP...but a win is a win. Got to play some young guys. Some very promising talent coming back next year, especially at RB. Good to get them some reps. Hope Appler heals up soon. Still QB by committee. Figure it out as they go.

Interestingly, Creekside GA beat East St. Louis... East St. Louis was ranked and took it to SFA losing a close one. Gives me some hope DF won't get drug 150-0 like I was thinking. Some hope. Have to wait and see.
