I think Kyle Richardson could answer that question about who was calling the plays for Northwestern. Btw....wasn't he removed from that staff halfway thru the season in 2017?

Richardson named Hellams and Wofford (current NW HC) specifically at the SCHSL coaches clinic in 2016. They were his play callers, although he had final say.

Stewart Hunt is an excellent young coach. Love having him at Northwestern, but his future is bright.

Maybe you are right about Hellams and Wofford calling plays. I would think the person who's offensive system it is would be the one calling the plays. I guess he listened to Wofford more instead of Hellams because one is a head coach playing for a State Championship this week,, the other is sending out resumes.
