I have heard for years the high school league in S.C. was corrupt and run by men with no character and I believe that was proven to be true last year (with Goose Creek), but the more I try to figure the system out the less I seem to know.
No comment here on the first part, on the second part, there are some good threads to help you understand on this board, or you can go to
http://www.schls.org and see the AAAA Handbook online.

There is no way a (3-7) Wade Hampton team deserves to be in and a (6-4) White Knoll team or a West Ashley (5-5) left out. Not to mention Bluffton.
In fairness, I am new to the area and the state so I do not know each of the teams schedules and broken tem down win by win or loss by loss (I will nest year as I get ore into it) but there as to be some sort of checks and balances system for this playoff system.
Going by record alone is not good either. Look at White Knoll for example. Their wins are against teams with a combined 9 or 10 wins all season, most of the teams they beat are AAA schools. I would almost put Wade Hampton in over White Knoll....
Sniper24 wrote:For you guys who know and understand this better than I, is there a scenario out there that can have Summerville move into either the two or the three seed?
IF,
Dutch Fork doesn't win Region V {North Augusta would have to beat them Friday}
AND
Berkeley beats Myrtle Beach
That should get them to #2 or #3 if only one of the two outcomes above happens
