The name that should be coming up is a coach by the name of Tom Butler. He coached at Greenwood High School from 2004-2010. He also played for Greenwood High School. He is now the head coach of Great Falls High School, and took his team to the playoffs for the fist time in 5 years (this was his first year as their head coach). I have heard from a very reliable source that he is extremely interested in the job at Emerald High School. Personally i think he would take a mediocre team and bring a spark back to a program that needs it.

Does his brother still coach at Emerald?

No I think he stopped coaching there this year. I saw him at a couple of games this year in the stands.

That's kinda surprising. He was there for a really long time.

Like I've said a few times in here, I'd be all for Emerald going after someone like Tom. They need someone completely new. He has ties to the area and the community would likely embrace him.
