This is what I meant by breaking the mold. Even though this coach has a better resume he still didn't get chosen over politics. I guess I have to accept that this is the way it's going to be even in 2020. He doesn't look like the previous coaches and it is what it is. We'll just have to see how things go. Going to need some good assistant coaches and as many to participate in the program that we can get. Sort of like how Dula ran things. Well.............. Congrats to Chris Liner. Porter is really gonna want to stick it to us now. Can't blame him. Liner better circle that game against Greenville. I hope Liner can do better at Greenwood than he did at Laurens. Laurens best team got blown out by Byrnes in the playoffs. Gotta do better than that here.

The community in Greenwood is real happy about it. At the end of the day they didn't want to hire another outsider. Not saying it's right. I think we should at least give Liner a chance before we judge. Let's see what he can do with the Greenwood players. If the community is behind you and you hire the right assistants. Sometimes that's all you need. Porter had the better resume. That's who I would have chosen. But that doesn't mean Liner will suck. I think we should support liner
