Back to the original topic....


Not too many are aware, but Riverside petitioned to the SCHSL to play at a lower level and not be eligible for a Region Title or Playoff Berth. It would have allowed them to play at 4A level where they may have been a little more competitive... only for FOOTBALL. However, the SCHSL would not allow them.

I think they should have been allowed to do this so that it would have been good for both Riverside as well as the other members of the Region.

True that Riverside cant compete in Region 2. But to be brutally honest, I dont think they would have any more success at the 4A level. They might could drop to 3A and win a couple games if in the right region, but couldn't even dream of truly competing with the best teams. Riverside has a real issue and I dont know how they dig out of it. Very little participation, and seems as if any of the younger set coming along, that are serious about football, transfer to another high school as they enter the 9th grade. I'm not sure how they can begin to turn it around.

Now Now....Why don't you go do your homework. Did I ever say YOU? Or some of YOU? In my experience. If a person tosses a stone into a pack of dogs, The one that gets hit will yelp. I never personally called you out that I recall. But, Im glad I got to live rent free inside your head for bit.
