Yeah I know, I just need to step back a little and keep my perspective real I guess but I'm really proud of the way Clover has done considering how bad we were for a long time after Jet Turner left. I hope they keep surprising me as they have been. They weren't picked to go far in our region either but here we are. R3 champs!

Hey man, you never know. There are many teams at all levels that have been looked by and then they turned around and proved everyone wrong. It all starts with believing. Lane is doing a good job.

Thanks for the good words eagle93. Clover has come a long way since Coach Lane took the reins. A lot of people discounted Lane too but he has done a great job here.

Great discussion on Clover. I must admit - I was not giving Clover their due given their non-region schedule. I thought they maybe tested against Irmo - NOT.......Same thing with their games against Nation Ford and Rock Hill - again, I was wrong. I think they can hold their own with their talent - QB - Receivers and now with their defense. Their QB and receivers are just as good as anyone in the state.

I maybe mistaken, but they should have home field advantage from Round 1 on...... They can make it to the Upper State Finals in my opinion....I assume they will play Dorman or Byrnes for Upper State title......Their fans pack their home stadium and they travel and follow them with solid crowds. You cannot dispute the enthusiasm Coach Lane has brought to the program........

Cloverfan I didn't mean any disrespect at all towards you or your Eagles when I made my comment. If you took it that way then I am truly sorry I was just giving my opinion on them come playoff time. To be honest I was dead wrong cause I told a buddy or mine that Clover would finish in the bottom of the region and be lucky to make the playoffs when we started the season and then Boom Clover made me look like a fool.
