Onion I considered FD and I think their on that next tier
With Sumter Dorman maybe spring valley the way they finished even ridge view

I think there’s still to many question marks there and they were loaded last year and couldn’t get it done at home against DF

Even FD fans on here have expressed concerns they have going into the season.

Always a threat though with the athletes they have.
Dub- I think FD, Gaffney, Dorman, DF....all....went to the Dabo Swinney school of poor-mouthing their team and how much they lost from last season. I know Dorman has a new coach, so have to wait and see- but you hear FD, Gaffney and DF coaches talk...they lost everything to graduation. You can look at DF's returning starters and know that is taking liberties with the truth. FD and Gaffney may have lost a lot, but the talent pool is always there. A school like Daniel has to work at it and have everyone across the board buy-in...schools like Fort D or Dorman have tons of undiscovered talent walking the halls to class- just have to get them on the field. I'll believe the "woe is me" line from them when I see it...haha.

DF is obviously the front runner. Gaffney took some hits with graduation, but Gaffney always has the talent on hand. Byrnes supposedly has talent, but they better figure out a way to fix that porous defense. Dorman? Just don't know. Their coach selection was surprising. Just not sure how that is going to work out.

Not sure how Daniel got thrown into the conversation. But Daniel is hardly just a little scrappy bunch that plays harder. They have a lot of talent. Considerably more than most in 3A.

I’m sure Fort Dorchester will be a contender in the lower but my point was really that they had everything going their way last year and had DF where they wanted them and didn’t close.

That FD / Gaffney game should tell us a lot about both

As far as my team goes
We have a hard time with all this college and nfl talent getting organized lol

Region 7 will be interesting this year ....
Fort D lost everything except the QB. But don't count LaPrad out yet...
Ashley Ridge has alot returning.
Summerville lost 5 Starters and should be stout on Defensive side and could make some noise
If we can find someone to step up at the QB position.
West Ashley had some good athletes last year but lost their 2 best players... but the new
Coaching staff has done alot in just 2 years there.
Stall should be 3 aaa.... enough said..

Of course the Six Mile-Central metroplex is the ideal demographic and the first place one thinks of for Tier 1 athletes; If the sport is greased pig catching maybe..ha. Hopkins and Williams are studs, I'll admit. But all jokes aside, their current success is a tribute to the kids, coaches, school, parents and community buying-in and making it the program it is today. That is way harder....getting everyone on board. Good job Lions.

Dutch Fork has talent walking the halls in droves and the resources needed....like I told everyone 13 or 14 years ago, just needed to get it on the field.
