1) Berkeley defeats Myrtle Beach this Friday to secure a winning record at 6-5

OR

2) North Augusta defeats Dutch Fork for the Region V crown.

I am thinking #1 might move us to the two seed but #2 would only move us to the two or three seed as Hillcrest could still have more playoff points. If both the above scenarios occur, we would more than likely be the two seed.
Hillcrest is locked in at 36.5 pts., even if they lose to Woodmont. (that would just become a markoff game)

Berkeley has to beat Myrtle Beach for Summerville to have a chance at a #2 seed.
(Summerville W, Berkeley W)
Those things have to happen for Summerville to get a #2 seed.

Also keep in mind, if Berkeley loses, Summerville would likely tie in pts (36) with Spring Valley.
In my projection, Summerville is only 3 opp. wins ahead of Spring Valley in the tie-breaker. So it is not a LOCK that they will be seeded ahead of Spring Valley.

If Ashley Ridge loses to Fort D,
they need West Ashley to beat Cane Bay
West Ashley would have "6" wins giving AR that +0.5 pts to make the playoffs. (32.5 pts)
They should be in.

In One Scenario of AR losing and Bluffton getting the 3rd seed from Region 8.
I believe it is Scenario #3 here.

This would be bad for AR. Could keep them home.

-Another Scenario
If AR and WA lose. AR would only have 32 pts.
It would come down to the opp. wins tiebreaker.
Wade Hampton will have more opp. wins., but AR should come right after them.

Currently I would have AR the last team IN the playoffs, (on the Bubble)
but just one (1) unexpected outcome could send them home in this circumstance.
Examples: Fort Mill beating Nation Ford, Woodmont beating Hillcrest, etc.

I just went back and looked at SF Band Dad's current point totals and Summerville's max is 37 while DF(36.5), Hillcrest(36.5) and Spring valley(36) are all lower. For Summerville to stay at 37, we need:

1) West Ashley to win this Friday as they are currently 5-5.
2) Berkeley to win this Friday as they are currently 5-5.
3) Summerville needs to defeat Bluffton.

Based on this, it appears the NA vs Dutch Fork game would not factor in to Summerville getting a #2 seed if the 3 outcomes listed above were to occur.

Correct. Fixed. Thanks for the help GBG. :)

I knew that 2 weeks ago. Senile.

I would still be pulling for North Augusta, if I were you. ;)

I think you guys would want to avoid the #4 seed. That way you could potentially play Byrnes in Columbia rather than Duncan.

(3) South Florence vs (2) Northwestern would be interesting.

NW would be intresting, we still need to take it one game at a time. We've gotta continue bringing our a game against the nasty Knights Friday nite.

If Fort Dorchester jumps back to the #2 line is there any way they could pass Gaffney? My question I guess is is there any scenario where if Gaffney wins this week that they could still fall in seeding?
293 INDIANS GAMES IN A ROW AND COUNTING!
