Just heard from a good source that Lamar has their man. The guy that was the OC last season is going to get the nod and get promoted to the HC job. They say he’s a goodun. Has ties to the lowcountry and the beach area they say, and likes the single wing stuff. Charlie Poole will be brought back as assistant head coach and Brian Scott made the OC. The Johnsonvillle DC is the leading candidate to take over as DC under the new guy.

I heard Beck (Lamar’s OC) was headed to Conway with Pierce. Any truth to that?

Who are the finalists for the job? I heard Bailey from Scotland County is one of them.
