Oh it does...

Region Champs are seeded first

Then Region Runner Up

Then everyone else after that. The worst possible seeding for a Region Champ would be 8th, but that would mean all Region Champs would have to be in the same Division and those odds are about the same as me winning the Powerball....

For example, West Florence doesn't look like a playoff team; however, if they win the Region, they will host a first round game.

If it were not such a time consuming task, I would still be doing it... I actually loved it for many reasons.

1. It kept me up on many teams that I normally wouldn't even know their records.
2. It was fun! Very hard, but fun! As he mentions above, predicting several hundred outcomes in the earlier weeks, then as the season went on, you were predicting fewer games, but more "important" games
3. It brought about real football threads with real football talk.

It was funny when coaches would send me notes and in some cases call me to ask questions like, "If we don't win Friday, can we still manage to get a home playoff game?" or "any chance we can end up on the same side of the bracket as _______"

Here's a question 74, did any coach (don't have to name names) ever ask you a question framed in such a way as to suggest that losing a game might give them an advantage?

With all the weather and games being postponed to Monday and now school districts are closing school on Monday does that mean schools will play two varsity games in one week starting on Tuesday then turn around and play on Friday or do they move the games to the end of the year, Cancel the games and not play? I know the pee dee and lowcountry right now are hit pretty hard and from the news so is the midland area.
That's why every school should have played Thursday night and they wouldn't have to go throw this
You are correct but the other school has to agree to play early. If they don't you play on the schedule date and there are a lot of schools that did not play Friday and probably won't play Monday.

No, I never had that one asked me directly.... I did have some ask me "well, what if we were to get upset by _______ on Friday?"

90% of the questions were related to "Can I get a home game?" or is there a way we can get two home games... they wanted the home field advantage.... and 99% of them already had the answer, they just wanted someone to confirm what they already knew. You know how confusing this points system can get, especially when you get to the tiebreakers.

I wish you could have made it to The Alley brother.
