Purpleandorange....Thanks for the info on who hired Davis. Have you heard anything about Coach Lane from Clover being mentioned as a possible candidate at NW? I believe Mr. Massey's son played for Coach Lane at Clover.......His son had a great year at WR last year if I am not mistaken......?

I have heard that same rumor but I wonder if it just got started because people know that Massey hired Lane to Clover. And Yes, Massey's son is a good athlete that is headed to SC State to play I believe.
Three things I know for sure. Spring practice is taking place with the responsibilities split up among the assistant coaches. College coaches who have been stopping in are getting feed back on various players and getting to meet them. I will take any positives at the moment!!! One negative for NW is Legion, among others, is lurking.

How about this scenario:
Jarvis Davis, Massey's fraternity brother, is already on staff. He is most likely Massey's choice for HC
Lauren West tried to get Mack Brown, but now looks to be going for Moose Wallace or maybe even Bobby Carroll.
(I can only surmise that Legion may not be shaping up to their liking???)
This is the same type of situation that occurred when Blake picked Martin, and West wanted Parks.
West, her husband, the grades lady, trainer, and a willing parent tore the program up to get back at Martin.
Who is to say she wont do it again if she doesnt get her way again????
She needs to go!?!?

Who would want this job right now? Knowing the issues with an unsupported AD that allows the things to happen that have.
Coach for Hire- Northwestern - Coach Must.....
1. Must play the hardest schedule in the state that the AD wants to play, regardless of the type of players you have.
2. Must win 10 games or the AD, few faculty members , and community want you fired.
3. Cannot Power Clean, Hang Clean, Dead Lifting
4. No competition allowed such as tug of war
5. Head coach has no say in the direction of the program - (One Parent does )
6. Must raise your own money- Athletic Booster Club no longer exist within the school
7. Coaches that will not commit to the program

Blessings can turn into a CURSE !!

She has the same ability to apply for the head job just like anyone else.
Inquiring minds wants to know: Has the A.D ever been a coach at any level ?
Seems that she is out of touch with coaching today but has all the answers for everything. Must be how she did things at her last school. Heard that did not go over so good

I don't think she has ever coached any sport.
Has anyone heard any word of District conducting investigation of others at NW?

The little birdie says only 6 people applied for the Head Job. I think most people in the entire state knows that NW is not the place to be. This was all created when Pierce was fired after 5 games.
