I have Rock Hill and Nation Ford finishing in 2nd and 3rd place, they shouldn't need an at-large.FootballFan4343 wrote: Gonna be real tough for Northwestern to argue an "at-large" birth if they can't beat Rock Hill next week. If Northwestern wins this week and next and then loses on a tie-breaker, I could see that scenario, potentially. To be honest, Rock Hill and Nation Ford stand a much better chance of getting at-large births.
Re: AAAAA Bracket
SF Band dad, Rock Hill is Jeckel and Hide, one week they play lights out - the next week, they don't show up at all. It would not surprise me one bit if Rock Hill loses to BOTH Nation Ford and Northwestern.....ASSUMING Northwestern beats Fort Mill Friday night and beats Rock Hill next week - they will be 2-2 in Region Play.....Nation Ford would be 3-1 in Region play.....I am not the expert on playoff parings BUT, wonder if Rock Hill would make playoffs given that scenario?SF Band dad wrote:I have Rock Hill and Nation Ford finishing in 2nd and 3rd place, they shouldn't need an at-large.FootballFan4343 wrote: Gonna be real tough for Northwestern to argue an "at-large" birth if they can't beat Rock Hill next week. Re: AAAAA Bracket
If they lost to both Nation Ford and Northwestern I'm pretty sure they won't qualify for an automatic playoff berth. They would be in contention for the upper-state at-large (booby-prize) berth, aka: the 16th seed, long-bus-ride-of-despair.Chuckster wrote:SF Band dad, Rock Hill is Jeckel and Hide, one week they play lights out - the next week, they don't show up at all. For now I've projected they'll win both of those games and will finish #2 in region 3.

Re: AAAAA Bracket
I know. Thats the point I was making. Nation Ford/Rock Hill will have better at-large resumes than Northwestern. So, my feeling is one of those teams would get the at-large if Northwestern were to nab a spot from either of them. If Northwestern doesn't nab one of those final spots, they will likely be 2-8. I don't see any scenario where a 2-8 team gets an at large berth, despite their tough schedule. Based on how things play out, I am hearing the 3 of them could be tied for 2nd in the region and go to a tiebreaker.SF Band dad wrote:I have Rock Hill and Nation Ford finishing in 2nd and 3rd place, they shouldn't need an at-large.FootballFan4343 wrote: Gonna be real tough for Northwestern to argue an "at-large" birth if they can't beat Rock Hill next week.
