May not be this year without a total collapse, which would be hard in that cupcake region they are in, but I the chair in the office of one Harry Cabanass felt a little warm this morning. That program is used to winning at a high level. If last night wasn't just a fluke, they won't put up with it.for long.

Emerald and 96 are just a few miles apart but have the same issue. Both schools have shown that they have what it takes to be a consistent, solid contender but politics and cliques have controlled the programs until they have been run into the ground. Owings at 96 never will win and he knows it. He has loaded the schedule this year with losers, playing Mid Carolina twice in back to back weeks, who only had 2 wins last year. But when your daddy is the dentist i guess the the kids don't matter. Emerald has the same issue, a coach hired because of cronyism. When will people finally stand up for their kids and force these schools to put the kids first? Both Emerald and 96 have had the opportunity to hire excellent coaches but chose the "buddy route" instead at the expense of the kids. It's really sad. I just sit at the Emerald games and cringe these days.
They do not play MID Carolina twice.that would be 11 regular
Season games.Max prep got it wrong.look again and count the games.
Count the games.
Max Prep should correct their mistake but this coach is for sure loading up the schedule with bottom feeders in order to try to save his job. I have no respect for any coach who does that.

Poole hasn't lost all too much, he only has 1 losing season. Is he losing the support of the community or the players?

Why has nobody said Carlton Terry at Conway?

11-27 over the last 5 years.
10-2 in his interim season (year 1).

Empty stands. Correct me on this, but only 35-37 players on the roster at a school of 1500 students? Loris has 45+ (3A). I’m not sure who they could beat in their schedule this year and it’s not all that tough. Maybe Loris or Aynor? I’m doubting they’ll even be able to do that. I think they scheduled those for automatic wins and it turns out they’re probably better. Sad day in Conway, tradition being lost.

It is time to put Bubba Pittman on the hot seat.
100%

I think BP has a case of the "pitty-party". He is a good person and people like him; so he won't be asked to tighten up or even feel pressure to perform better. Maybe one day.

RHH needs a new direction no doubt about it. The begining of the end should have been the NW obvious unprepared showing; but it will probably take more. The administration at the school who needs to say something; "aren't". They are all sitting behind the "no talent excuse" and getting away with it. Thing is: if you start showing you have a pulse: even if you don't win State Championships (be competitive consistently)- people wouldn't avoid you like the plague.

p.s. "if there are all these kids that are supposedly zoned for RHH choosing not to go to RHH - wouldn't common sense beg the question, why is that"? Think about it.

We can just recycle all the comments from the last two years. Nothing has changed.
