He had also coached Basketball there. He won their first Conference Championship in 2018 there and then left to go be the Defensive Coordinator at Northwestern (Record 9-4 2016, 8-4 2017, 9-3 2018 - Currently not listed on staff at Northwestern High website). He played football at Spartanburg in High School where he was on two State Championship teams and played in the 1995 Shrine Bowl.
