South Pointe is a better team. If South Florence does avoid playing South Pointe and makes it to Northwestern, then the game will be anything but interesting, Northwestern would win by 17 or more. South Florence just does not have the athletes to match-up for 4 quarters. NW is better at QB, WR, OL, DL, LB, DB, and special teams. Not too mention NW has better coaches and South Florence would be on the road. South Florence should hope for that 4th seed, you guys have a better shot at GC than NW. Again, you won't beat GC either, but they seem to be weaker on defense than NW. Either way, S. Florence won't get past either of those teams. NW is heads above everyone in D2, and GC is heads and shoulders above everyone else in D2.

Wow... Some pretty bold predications there... Can't wait to see how this turns out, hope you don't have to eat too much crow...

Re: First Look at Playoff Projections for 11/2
I'll throw in my 2 cents.
While it's true, NW is likely a good bit better than SF, that doesn't make it impossible for SF to upset NW. I have watched SF play this year. The defense is fast and forces a lot of turnovers. The offense is FULL of outstanding skill players. While it's true no one has ever heard of any of them, there's a reason. The offense is full of sophmores and juniors. So the extra pub one gets from being a 3 star, 4 star recruit (like Jacob Park) isn't there. Neither is the tradition of a Byrnes or NW. But the talent - it's there.
Looking forward to see how the next several weeks play out. AND I'm stoked for 2014 Bruins football as well.
PS, my son played on a baseball all-star team with coach Prince's son's in 2011. <--- completely unrelated

This may have already been addressed but... when will the actual seeds and brackets be released for playoffs?

I should have "unofficial" brackets posted here on SCPrepTalk by midnight Friday as long as no games get postponed.Rebel-Fan-74 wrote:All of the official brackets will be located http://www.schsl.org/2013brackets/2013brackets.htmMorty's Spurs wrote:This may have already been addressed but... when will the actual seeds and brackets be released for playoffs?
