Well, out of this side of the bracket, the team in Columbia on that first Saturday in December will have some battle scars for sure. If it were Dorman, they probably will have beaten Hillcrest, Brynes and Dutch Fork all as the visiting team... that is assuming no other upsets... but those other teams will not "mail it in" I'm sure.ByrnesRebels05 wrote:Hillcrest fans would just love this bracket...not

You are correct, your Greenwave could spoil the Red Raiders playoff dreams (or more than likely, save them an awful nightmare in Goose Creek).EHSMeanGreen wrote:We have focused some on the Mauldin, Boiling Springs, and Colleton County aspect of these brackets.
Everybody, Please keep in mind that there are many other games that will have an impact on these brackets....
Region One
Easley beating Greenville would have an impact,
-Laurens would become an automatic bid instead of At-large.
-Greenville would be out.
---This change "could" put all three (Mauldin, Boiling Springs, and Colleton County) in the playoffs.
All would likely be considered "UPSETS" but the way this season has been, would it really be an upset?EHSMeanGreen wrote:Region Four
Spring Valley, Blythewood, and even Ridge View outcomes could have an impact.
Region Five
Lexington (do they get an extra +.5 from a Wando win) - If they lose and Wando loses, they "could" be in danger at 32.5 pts.
(already mention River Bluff and Irmo)
Region Six
Socastee takes 2nd place over Sumter, big shakeup to the brackets
West Ashley getting in with the automatic due to the HEAD TO HEAD with Wando is one thing we haven't given much consideration to, but as with the case of Greenville, one more team getting or losing an automatic shakes things up quickly. What if you add the two together? Greenville losing their automatic bid and West Ashley getting an automatic bid? See how convoluted it can get in a hurry????EHSMeanGreen wrote: Region Seven
Wando, West Ashley, James Island, and Cane Bay have some sorting out to do.
(Wando not being automatic would be bad for those on the bubble!)
That is with only one week to go.... now keep in mind, we've been projecting since September. Now you get a better idea of why things change so much from my projections to ESHMeanGreen's during the season. We've listed at least 100 different ways this could change when you add them all together from this list and keep in mind, this is only the ones he has listed...
But, for some of us, this is something we like to do!
Some things are pretty solid:
#1 Fort Dorchester - even with a loss to Ashely Ridge, I cannot see them other than #1 seed.
#2 Dutch Fork - if they lose to Lugoff Elgin, they should fall to the #16 seed automatically... I"m kidding.. #2 is lock
#3 Byrnes - I don't think there is anything the Rebels can do to get to #1 or #2, nor do I think they can fall to #4... unless they pull a Clemson and lose to Wade Hampton at home...
#4 #5 and #6 are all close and could change.. I mean, Hillcrest could lose the Region Championship with a loss on Friday.
#1 is not even set in Division II - well, it is set in one way, the winner of the Stratford-vs-Goose Creek game is the #1 seed.
#2 is South Florence unless ... yes, there is an unless ...

YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE HAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
