BYRNES#1 wrote:Spartanburg isnt that great yall, seriously we just played like crap & they did a awesome job on the defensive side of the ball. They were just due sooner or later to win a game I mean damn 1 win out of the last 15 played, c'mon its not that big of a deal. I feel very confident we would beat them 8 out of 10 times but we wont get that chance Im afraid to say.

I personally think as a entire unit NW has a better oline than Byrnes & that will be the difference if they play each other, their QB should have more time & if he does he will light them up IMO.

On a side note I would like to add that our oline has looked much better the last 3 games & had they played against Spartanburg like they did Dorman, Spartanburg wouldve took another BIG L from the REBEL EMPIRE!!! ;) :D

Do Carolina First pick up another point if North Myrtle Beach beat Hartsville or do they lose a point since a Win makes North Myrtle Beach have a winning record

Gaffney gets 4th place in Region according to the 4A playoff system.

They finished in a 3-way tie for 2nd at 4-2 in Region with
York and Nation Ford.
No team beat the other 2 (1-1).
So it goes to points tie-breaker for 2nd place.

York got more points (35.5), so they get 2nd place.
(Tie-breakers in 4A only remove 1 team at a time)
So we are left with Nation Ford and Gaffney.
Nation Ford beat Gaffney head to head so Nation Ford is 3rd place.
Gaffney is 4th place.

3rd and 4th place in Region 3 are both automatic bids that are seeded according to points after 1st and 2nd place teams have been seeded.

Carolina Forest would gain two points in the without mark-offs category with a North Myrtle Beach win, but they won't gain any points in the more important (with mark-offs) category.

North Myrtle Beach will be one of CF's mark-off games regardless of the outcome with Hartsville.

Thanks. On the Gaffney radio station they went over the region standings and claimed that Gaffney finished third but they then said that if Spring Valley won on Thursday that Gaffney would play Spring Valley in the first round and if Blythewood won that Gaffney would play Sumter. Coach Jones stepped in when they went to commercial break and told them that we would play Byrnes if Blythewood wins. They were just a little bit confused but that is not surprising in that starting this year our radio station quality has gotten about as bad as the football team has. I would like to apologize if that has been posted already but I was on mobile while I listened to Tribe Talk Live.

Edit: They also said that Nation Ford finished in second place so they were either confused or given bad information or possibly both.

If Blythewood wins, that is true.

If Spring Valley wins the Indians play the Gamecocks of Sumter.
