Beaufort will be opening up the 2023 Football Season with a trip to Cane Bay. Beaufort is a 3A Team and Cane Bay is a 5A Team. The Eagles and Cobras have not played against one another since 2017. They were supposed to play last season but the game was canceled because of bad weather on Friday and The Cobras did not want to make the trip back to Beaufort the rest of the weekend or on Monday. So hopefully this game will get played this week.

Cane Bay holds a 3-1 edge over Beaufort so far in the Overall Series between the 2 teams. I think that this will be a pretty good game. What does everyone think about this game? Will Beaufort Win? Will Cane Bay make it 3 in a row over Beaufort? Let's hear your thoughts and predictions on this Big Game!!!! I will give mine later on in the week.

This Big Game to start out the 2023 High School Football Season is only 2 days away. I am so excited!!!! From this poll, it looks like most people think it is going to be a pretty good game. Doodles has Cane Bay favored by 19 points over Beaufort and Massey has Beaufort favored by 14 points over Cane Bay. I am still surprised by the Doodles pick. I think Beaufort should be favored by at least 14 points over Cane Bay. But really preseason ratings don't mean much until the season starts.

For everyone who voted in this poll, let's see your reasoning for your pick and your thoughts on this game. I know a few Summerville posters who I have talked with said that Cane Bay will be really good this year and Slick even said that he thought that Cane Bay would be really good. But...I have talked with some other people that were at Cane Bay's Scrimmages and they said that the Cobras look really bad. So for those in the know, let's hear your thoughts on this game. This Big Lowcountry Game is Tomorrow Night!!!! I am so excited!!!! In order for Beaufort to win this game, The Eagles Defense will have to have a huge night stopping the Cane Bay Cobra Rushing Attack. Cane Bay runs a form of the Wing T-Flexbone Offense and runs the ball 95% of the time. So Beaufort's Defensive Line and LB'S better be ready to stop the run and key on their guys. The Cobra's will try and catch the opposing defenses off guard with a deep pass, so The Eagle's DB'S and Safeties better be ready.

Beaufort's Offense led by Junior QB Samari Bonds needs to not have any turnovers. The Eagles Offensive Line will need to block well to help Beaufort's RB'S and Bonds to run the football. I look for Bonds to have a Big Night tomorrow night running the football and also throwing the ball. I would love to see him throw the ball well. He has 2 very good receivers in Dorell Depass and Amare Patterson. Beaufort's kicking Game will have to have a good night also Punting and Kicking. The Eagles Kicking game struggled in their 2 Scrimmages.

As for my prediction, I think that Beaufort should win this game pretty easily. I will say...
