Providence Day vs. Northwestern. Good Game.

Providence Day had somewhere in the neighborhood of 20 transfers to their school this offseason after Jadyn Davis transferred there.
It showed.
I hate to say it; but NW is going to give most teams a fit. Everybody will not have FBS talent at every level of the field like Providence Day had.
QB committed to Michigan. WR - Ship is currently committed to N. Carolina. #70 is going to be a 5-star I am told and near the very top of the 2025 or 26 class.
Along with some other kids who will be playing FBS or FCS somewhere. They likely won't get beaten and have faced the toughest team they will see all year.
I thought the Trojans represented well all things considered.
All that said, to only lose by a TD, with 5 empty redzone trips says alot against all the FBS talent they played Saturday.
The rest of the non-able to recruit teams had better take notice; including my Stallions.

Number 1 overall in N.C.
3 of the top 10.
4 of the top 25 in N.C.
And, this doesn't include the underclassmen! #70 is going to be a elite recruit.
Everybody won't have two 4-star WR and a 5-star QB.

Geez that's a ton of talent! Not a fan of Northwestern but was hoping to see them get the W, just for the simple fact of representing the state LOL

Northwestern coaches are god awful. They have a lot of talent. But they need to hire some real coaches. They’ll be good as usual because talent will overcome bad coaching against lesser talent but when they run into a great team with a good coach in playoffs they’ll fall sort or even state. Unless 4A is down, They could win state with the talent they have. But it won’t be because they’re coaching I can tell you that. They have peewee football coaches trying to run a dynasty.

I'm sorry to hear that your son isn't getting the playing time you think he should have.....

I appreciate 5th Quarters assessment of the PDU game. The stage was huge and a distraction. Trojans will not play a more talented team this year.
QB to Michigan, WR1 Michigan, WR2 UNC, safety/RB NC State. That’s the power 5 seniors. Junior tackle/DE #70 is top player in the country, #77 is the same size and not far off in skill in the 2026 class right tackle/DE. 8 guys played 2 ways, all their best players. Couldn’t get them worn down quick enough. The empty trips were the difference along with #3 and #7 on the outside. We missed a field goal, 2 4th down interceptions, which could have been filed goal attempts if we could make one. A 4th down completion where our guy went out of bonds before catching the ball. Very good game.
Looking forward to the season. Southpointe is always tough, Gaffney will be a good test again and then the playoffs. A healthy Trojan team will be hard to beat unless you have 5-6 players on both sides of the ball that are 4-5 star guys.
Can’t wait to rebound against a competing and feisty Clover team tonight.

I’ve been a northwestern fan since I was young, they have the talent not the coaching unfortunately I have no kids no one related to me on the team they are not well coached. Anyone that really knows football can see that. They may can win state in 4A and I’m hoping they will. But it will be hard against a team with good coaching and just as much talent. Now how many teams will have just as much talent is yet to be seen.
