Dutch Fork vs Hough

Post by Greerfan1 »

Hough didn't impress me against Byrnes, but I also didn't think Dutch Fork would lose last week to Spartanburg.

First team to 10 points wins 😂

If the Dutch Fork Starting QB is back then this should be a great game. If he isn't back, then Hough should have the Edge.

I was at the Hough vs Byrnes and I was impressed with Hough (and with the Rebels in that game). I'm like most folks when it comes to Dutch Fork so far, "WHAT IS GOING ON?" Basing it on current events and not bringing history into this at all, you have to go with Hough because the Silver Foxes do not seem to be ready to go just yet. Now that could change overnight when it comes to high school football and your best example is the difference between WEEK ZERO and WEEK ONE with the Rebels. AND, we all seem reluctant to admit that maybe the Vikings are better than we thought.

One reason why we don't see a 35-0 record in the Pick 'Em game; the "best team" doesn't always win. Sometimes it is the team that was more prepared and gave 100% way more often. There is a lot of pride down at Dutch Fork and I think that pride (along with the coaching staff) will push them this week and Dutch Fork will be a much different team than we have seen the past couple of weeks. Key injuries to key players and underclassmen that are not ready for prime time. Got to get everyone healthy, especially the QB - same thing happened last season but we had Jarvis Green early and once he went down too, the schedule was a little more friendly. Hough is going to be hard to beat. Have to see what Knotts can dream up. Once they get everyone healthy and their bye week is just before region play starts, so that helps. Have to wait and see.

This X ray of the starting Dutch Fork Quarterback doesn’t look like a quick fix. https://twitter.com/jonhunt19qb/status/169329 ... SG8lJdyPRw

It’s not how you start the season what matters is how you finish!

No, it does not...unfortunately. Might be the season for him. Offing, Smith and Lil Knotts are going to have to grow up fast.
