Emerald at Hampton

The Vikings go down to Varnville to face Hampton .Vikes are 0-1 Hampton is 2-0 .i believe Emerald will win this game they are ready to go after a heart breaking loss to 96 . The Vikings JV lost to Greenwood JV 12-6 in overtime last week. They play Fox Creek JV Thursday.

Hampton County looks pretty good, If Emerald struggled with 96, they are likely to have a difficult time with this team as well. Just my opinion.

Why is Emerald playing down so much this season?
Ninety Six, Hampton County, Saluda, and Ware Shoals are all smaller schools. I KNOW that Saluda is a great program and that they are close by but looks like EHS tried to schedule a couple of tune-up games and it might bite 'em.

I think Hampton wins this one. Hampton County has a very good team this year. The Hurricanes are loaded in their running offense with some very good RB's and their QB. I will say...

This should be a good game.
Hampton will have to stop the
Vikings running attack led by
their QB Key Holloway . He is tough
to tackle.

Props to 96 and Hampton, but starting out 0-2 (against 2A programs) with Saluda up next is a nightmare scenario for Emerald.
