Hartsville v. Irmo
Hot take: Irmo will beat Hartsville by 30 this week. Irmo is the real deal and underrated in the polls. Irmo will play South Florence for the lower state title and may beat them.

Re: Hartsville v. Irmo
Loved hearing the Movin the Chains guys talk this game. I disagree with them and would be shocked if Hartsville won a two score game over Irmo on Friday. Hartsville can run the ball and their offense may keep them in the game, but they can't tackle anyone. The QB from Irmo is the real deal and is much better than the Dillon QB. The Irmo back is a transfer from Gilbert and very big and fast. I don't think that Hartsville can stop that offense. Haven't seen the Irmo defense but I think this one ends in a very high scoring shootout or, if Irmo can tackle, it isn't even close. I may eat my words, but I don't think the Hartsville offense is as difficult to diagnose as people are saying. There wasn't much movement in that backfield that people talked about. It was pretty much inside zone reads and traps play after play against Dillon. Maybe they didn't have to get creative because they were executing for 8 yards a carry against Dillon, but I don't see that happening this Friday after back to back physical games against Camden and Dillon. We will see what happens on Friday, but I see Irmo putting it on them this week and opening some eyes around the state with a very legit QB and power running game.

No Hartsville fans on here at all, huh? Aren’t forum boards where people talk sh*# back and forth. This one is pretty boring.

This one is more about talking about football…more informational, peoples thoughts about games..prediction and such…a little friendly banter between fans is acceptable and encouraged..PeeDeeFootballFan wrote: ↑Fri Sep 15, 2023 1:41 pmAren’t forum boards where people talk sh*# back and forth. If my fellow Lion fan Ddub14 were to come back I’m sure you’d have fun going back and forth with him.PeeDeeFootballFan wrote: ↑Fri Sep 15, 2023 1:41 pmNo Hartsville fans on here at all, huh? Aren’t forum boards where people talk sh*# back and forth. This one is pretty boring.

I’m having plenty of fun just being right. Go back and look at my posts. They are predictions and analysis and turns out Hartsville maybe can’t tackle and people may have jumped out to some crazy assumptions based on who they beat.

Maybe one day you’ll be as knowledgeable as Cityslicker.

looked like they played in Hartsville, never saw a stags win there, maybe one close one, been up there when I looked behind the stadium on visitor side and the cotton had frost on it, looking like a winter wonder land, also in early days, had a small tank they would shot the cannon off every score the foxes had. Lat time up, they had two gates one for home side and one for visitors pretty much like home people gets in, stags stand for awhile. always know when I past the 7 th cotton field in kellytown, turn left and your are there.

We definitely missed this one! Irmo is big and physical. Solid football team. I think Hartsville will be fine once they get healthy and get their QB and a few other pieces back. Appreciate you checking us out!PeeDeeFootballFan wrote: ↑Wed Sep 13, 2023 5:05 pmLoved hearing the Movin the Chains guys talk this game.
