BEAUFORT 16 MAY RIVER 13 FINAL 9/15/23

Beaufort beat County Rival May River 16-13 this past Friday Night in a very thrilling game. I knew going in that this would be a good close game. I told everyone that this game would be one of the best in the State this past weekend and it sure was. It doesn't matter the records of these teams when they meet because this game seems to always come down to the last seconds. Good luck to May River on the rest of their season!

Beaufort RB Jadyn Andrews had another good game running the football. Andrews had 2 rushing TD'S on the night. He has really become a weapon for Beaufort. Beaufort's Defense had a really great game limiting May River to only 13 points on the night. The Eagles "D" held The Sharks to 0 first downs in the 1st half and only a few yards total.

I loved seeing the Huge Crowd at this game!!!! The Stadium was a rocking!!!!

Some things that Beaufort needs to work on from this game are, The Eagles need to still cut down on the penalties called against them. There were a ton of penalties called against Beaufort in this game and this will eventually cost them. Beaufort also missed 2 Field Goals in this game. I still would to see Beaufort use the 2 back sets some more and to also see QB Samari Bonds complete a lot more big passes to The Eagles WR'S.

Well, Beaufort has won 3 games in a row to improve to 3-2 on the season. The Eagles really are playing better ball and Beaufort's Defense is tackling a lot better. I still think My Eagles will make some noise in the 3A Playoffs again. Playing all of these Bigger Schools really does help when Beaufort is playing the 3A Teams.

On another Note from this Game. WHHITV Interviewed me for being Beaufort's SUPERFAN and Biggest Supporter. I want to say a Big Thanks to them for doing that. This was my 617th Beaufort Football Game attended. This does not include the thousands of other Beaufort Sporting events that I have attended.

Next up for Beaufort is a trip to another County Rival in Bluffton. I can't wait for this game!!!!

No, May River is one of the Biggest Schools in 4A. I heard this past Friday that May River is moving up to 5A next year in the new Realignment. They have had 5A Numbers for the past few years.
