I hope those brackets are correct. The region 4A-6 champion will play at home until they lose, or travel to SCSU for the championship game.

Geez...in 5A the region 7 #1 seed would have 3rd and 4th round games on the road if the seeds held. Looks like at Sumter/Carolina Forest and then at Dutch Fork.

Dillon got a gift in 3A. Best regions good teams are all on the other side and home field throughout. Only have to face one of Gilbert or Crestwood. Everyone else on their side (Camden and Beaufort) is down big time. Would be shocked if Phillip Simmons turns out to be legit and definitely won’t be much between those walls. Easy path for Dillon to the lower state finals again. Much tougher for Crestwood and Gilbert followed by a trip to the walls.

I agree and many other agree as well; but at the very minimum, put the head to head clause in the bracket so that because Summerville beat both Sumter and Carolina Forest during the season, they earned the home field against them. As for the point system, that would take one minute to put into place and use the KISS method.... Keep It Simple Stupid!

Looks like the winner of 5A Region 2 kinda misses out with only 2 home games, If I'm reading that correctly

Only if all the #1 seeds all win... which doesn't happen a lot. Last year, for example, the Final Four in the UPSTATE were Dutch Fork and the #1, #2 and #4 finishers from Region II.

The Boogerman might be coming back to Lower State 5A playoffs this season....

Lol....you might be right. Alot of football to be played between now and seeding time but I am not fooled by DF's record and would not be surprised to see them still playing football in the latter rounds of the playoffs. If things hold up like I think they may either Summerville or FD will be playing at DF in the 2nd round.
