Beaufort 23 Blythewood 15 final

Yeah Baby!!!! I want to send out a Big Congrats to My Beaufort Eagles Football Team on their win over Blythewood tonight to start the 4A Division 2 Playoffs. Beaufort RB'S Eric Blakely and Jeffrey Tookes had big nights rushing the football. Beaufort kicker Brady Cormier had 3 fg's including a 48 yarder. What a great job that Beaufort's Defense did also. They held Blythewood to only 15 points. The Bengals had been avg 30 points a game. Beaufort's "D" held Blythewood to only 7 points most of the game until giving up a 80 yard td bomb with about 2 mins left in the game.

I thought that the crowd was pretty good considering that it rained most of the game. Beaufort improves to 9-3 on the season. Blythewood finished up their season with a record of 7-5. I want to say congrats to Blythewood on the good season. I hope that the team and all their fans made it home safely. Good luck next season.

Next up for My Beaufort Eagles is a trip to North Augusta next Friday Night. I can't wait for that game.
