Region 1 aa record so far

Post by 96fanatic »

Abbeville 4-1
Blacksburg 3-2
Chesnee 3-2
Liberty 4-1
Landrum 4-1
96 4-1
Abbeville by far with the toughest schedule .
I think our region games will be some good
ones with the teams matching up pretty equal
except for Abbeville if all the teams stay healthy.
Last year my Wildcats were hit with the covid and
flu bug the last 4 games and looked terrible. so for
this year they are ok except for our SR. QB still out.

Blacksburg is the shocker for me in that region especially after having a horrid season a year ago but of course new coach and new attitude has the cats playing great and doing pretty good so far this season can they make a run for the region title this year who knows lot of football left but it is nice to see the other side of the river having success would love to see them playing deep into the playoffs

Blacksburg absolutely will NOT make a run. 0 chance. I'm glad they are winning some games but they were toasted by Lewisville and St Joe. Just the truth. I do wish them well though, hopefully they keep getting better.

Yea I know it’s wishful thinking but I do believe that the new coach has them trending in the right direction

To be honest, Lewisville has done that to everyone they have played except Oceanside. No excuses, but Lewisville and St. Joe's are VERY good teams. Southside Christian is also VERY good. Like I said no excuses, but can't judge teams off of scores; have to look at the teams. Good luck to Abbeville this year. It is always fun to play ya'll win or lose because it makes us better.
