Start of region play. I am looking forward to this game. Always fun to play 96. Both teams will be looking to get off on the right foot to start region play. Prayers for 96 to have traveling mercy to Blacksburg. This game should be fun.

One thing for sure . The Wildcats will win.
I guess i will stay home and watch the game
on the NFHS network . I am getting where
I am nervous about driving that far at night .
It will be no secret what 96 will do . Run the ball.
Maybe 2 or 3 passes in the game. They have 3
guys rotating at running back . None have great
speed or size but they run hard . If Blacksburg
stops 96 run game it will be a tough night for
96 .I think it will be a good game. GO GET'EM WILDCATS!

I am sorry you will not be able to make the trip. Yea 96 runs the ball very well! Watching film on them, they run hard. Blacksburg will throw the ball. The major difference for us this year is that we have speed all over the field. 96 is the favorite in this game, and rightfully so, but I think this game will be closer than the experts think. At least I hope so, haha.

96 Sr. QB practiced today for the
1st time since he got hurt 5 weeks ago.
Threw some passes but did not run the
Ball . I think he may play some Friday at
QB but I doubt he will play any defense.
He usually plays both ways.

If he is back, then this game just got even more fun. Last Friday night, he was still on crutches on the sidelines. I hope the best for him and I hope he is healthy. He is a tremendous athlete/player.

Bennett has done such an awesome job. Lost his QB early in the season and they adapted about as good as they could.
He's one to watch. One of the best young coaches in the state.

76 years old and still get Butterflies

Hopefully it is a good tough region matchup. Honestly I feel like this game could go either way.

96 wins this one 33-20 hard fought game
As expected . 96 just made a few more plays.
Both teams had to many penalties . Blacksburg
Had 150 yards in penalties and 96 had 90.
Good luck to the Blacksburg Wildcats the rest
