Greenwood vs Berea 9/29/23

Greenwood use this matchup to work on their passing game. They need to lineup 5 wide and sling the ball this game. The running game is there. They just need to iron out the wrinkles in the passing game. Just find other receivers to step up and catch the ball. The key thing for us should be spacing, it will give our quarterback good lanes to throw the ball.

How much 5 wide do they usually use?

5 wide only about 30 percent. Mainly 3 or 4 wide formation out of the spread.

I don't how many Greenwood folks will make that trip.. but there is virtually authentic Mexican food on every corner of Berea.
Who doesn't like a Taco with a Touchdown?

Greenwood will "probably" win this one. I mean it's berea though so yah know..... Whoop dee doo! State champ ghs is right though. Line up in five wide. Hell I say throw It 95% of the time. Pretty much Greenwood, Berea, Pickens, and Easley are all fighting for third place in the region which means a chance at a first round win and an ass whipping to close the season in the second round. No different than last year. So who's the best of the four bottom dwelling mediocre teams in the region under Greenville and Westside? The quest begins Friday night. Greenwood might have a chance to win that. 3rd place in the region. We'll see

Eagles win this one with no trouble unless they just have a terrible game.

I agree! Greenwood needs to improve in the passing game. Seaborne and Adams are the only ones catching the ball. Other receivers on the team need to step up and help those players out. Greenwood could use this game to improve in that area. The QB should have around 20 to 30 passing attempts.
We already know we can run the ball. Why not work on our weakness which is passing and improve with a game like this???

Well darn! Liner needs to be reading this stuff. I'm not putting too much energy into it these days. If they win I'll enjoy them, if it's a loss I'm not going to dwell on that. I have too much other stuff going on. In the end it is a game.

I want Liner and the assistant coaches to succeed and win championships. I'm not a fan with all the conversative play calling all the time. It's for the other team to stop us not us stopping ourselves. Be bold and courageous in calling plays!!!
