GAFFNEY AT SPARTANBURG

4-2 Gaffney at 4-3 Spartanburg
Predictions and scores.
Who you got and why
Indians are coming off of a bye week with a last game win over 3-2 Fort Dorchester.
Vikings are coming off of a loss to 6-1 Byrnes.
Can the Viking defense stop the Indians?
Will the Vikings offense correct the mistakes from last Friday and dominate at home?

I think this one has the potential to be another recent classic, That Viking defense is legit.

YES, but can they do it every time... maybe not. But points will be at a premium for both teams.

Two great defensive teams last Friday night and both offenses sputtered for the most part...
I think this one is going to be a classic Spartanburg -vs- Gaffney game with a lot of hard hitting and every yard gained will be difficult to get. I do not see this as a shoot out like you had at Fort Dorchester and would be shocked if either team reached 28 points. I'm going to go with the Indians because they had a week off to get rested, healed and prepared.

I will take the burg in a tight one.28 to 24
Gaffney is good.
But our ol had some flawed technique that directly
Made gaffney rushers more effective.
I didn't see that un the burg grayson game.

All I know is Spartanburg better show up for this one, this is where the wheels come off or you make a statement.
Too many inconsistent offensive plays, no true RB. QB still has a VERY hard time seeing the field. I'm not saying Byrnes wasn't better last Fri, but you gotta score more than one TD to win this region.
You can only shoot yourself in the foot so many times before you lose a leg.
Hope everyone has good week, stay safe, travel safe and stop by Harolds and grab everyone a sack of chili burgers.
Take a kid to a ball game. Be Somebody.

Great post, top to bottom! Especially the last statement!
Granted, I only have one game to make this judgement; however, if you had a QB and move the current QB to RB, you would have your true RB. He's got more moves than a case of Exlax and is super quick to make the cuts. I'm not saying he is not a QB, but I agree with your assessment that he has a VERY hard time seeing the field.
But I think Friday night we had two of the best defensive units in the state on that field in Duncan!

Also the back up qb is like 6”2 or 4 I think and he can definitely see over the field and has a great arm.,
