Let me say this before we get started with this. I didn't get to go Friday cause I was sick and am still feeling some of the effects of that awful stomach bug. It literally sucked that I couldn't go but there was no way in the world I could go. I just want to know what must the team do to get over that loss and the sting of loosing the home playoff record. I think they need to get together and just put it behind them and then work hard in the weight room and work hard on the practice field and get ready to come out and kick butt next season.
Now me as a fan wants to see the offensive coordinator either go back to school on how to be an offensive coordinator or Jones needs to find another oc. I would love to see the hc from Laurens to come back and run our offense again and see what he can do yes we will be down next year but I think we have the talent to still be running and be a contender. Defense will be better next year as those guys will be a year seasoned playing varsity ball but the offense will be young as well. We have growing pains to go through and we will be goin into a new region but I think we can do get things next season.

Re: Where Does Gaffney Go After Friday
Gaffney goes up from here. I remember when Sumter lost a home playoff game in 2009 to a Spartanburg team that only won 4 games at the time. There was talk about that Sumter team going back to state. Now in Sumter it takes us about 3-4 years to rebuild. It doesn't take years for Gaffney to rebuild. This was your rebuilding year. The loss last Friday will be a fire in the kids' belly for next year.

TO THE BASKETBALL COURT
Oh wait, this isn't PFT.
I think we had similar circumstances, I was just two days behind you. Bad stomach virus Sunday and Monday... I know you lose quite a bit with Shag and Foster, and it will be very difficult to replace them. On the other hand, Gaffney has athletes all over Cherokee County coming to the Reservation so there is no reason to think it goes down from here. I agree that there needs to be some changes in coaching, don't know if it is just a change in style or personnel. I don't know well enough to judge the staff, but I have seen some of the things people say happening on the bench (lack of coaching, loss of control, etc) so maybe there does need to be some changes.
I think the Indians come back next year with a good team, maybe not 15-0, but a strong defensive team and a good offensive team.

But in all seriousness, Gaffney does play some sports other than football that are worth getting excited about. Though not to the extent to say crazy things like "LJ is coming for you".
Gaffney will be alright. The defense is young this year and hopefully they'll learn to hit next year. We'll find a new QB and RB and a couple of WR's and I think we'll make a run to at least the second round of the playoffs next year. Possibly even better than that depending on what the rest of Division 1 looks like.
