I hope this game will be closer than everyone expects. The Vikings will have to play over their heads and a mistake free game to have a chance.I don't think the Red Devils are as good as they were last year but they have good team and are coached well.

The game I saw this year they looked just a nasty as last year. They graduated a lot last year and have battled injuries this year but the passing game is deadly. Defense is nasty as well... still wish Ethan Campbell(DC) would come this way to be our head coach. Heard he is a big hunter and I know a lot of people with land in Hodges whenever he is ready to make the move.

They lost Mathew Bennett to 96. He's already proven himself to be one of the best up and comers in the upstate.

Bennett is a good coach. I don't know if he has proven himself though. Shutout twice this year in arguably the two biggest games they had. Now don't get me wrong I love the big energy that big bad Bennett brings. Heck, they might have a cheeseburger challenged named after the man LOL. But in all seriousness his tenure at 96 will be very good just got to continue to prove himself.

I agree with you Hornet but If Bennet has a couple of winning seasons i think he will move on .Just my opinion . 96 had lifetime player and coach that would still be at 96 and would have a good program with a bunch of kids in the program but unfortunately they fired him after 1 season. Most small schools are lucky now days if they get a successful coach to stay very long . Abbeville is the exception . I know coach Nick has put in for jobs in the passed but did not get them . he put in for Broome a few years ago and the Greenwood job twice. Can't figure out why they didn't hire him .Whe ever he retires or gets another job i bet Abbeville will hire an assistant as head coach and just keep on rolling.
